Experience
- Counsels clients in all aspects of commercial real estate and real estate-based financing matters.
- Advises and represents buyers, sellers, landlords, tenants and developers on acquisitions, development, and leasing transactions across the country.
- Counsel to a lender specializing in the financing of multifamily housing complexes throughout the United States, with a focus on loans guaranteed by the USDA, Rural Development, through its Guaranteed Rural Rental Housing Loan Program.
- Represents a multi-national quarry owner in all aspects of property acquisition.
- Counsel to a New Markets Tax Credit investor in connection with the rehabilitation of a vacant 13,140 square foot commercial property into a financial services and resources hub in Jackson, MS, which will be leased back to the Sponsor for operation.
- Counsel to a Tribe (Developer/Owner) in connection with the construction of a 126-room hotel on tribal land in Shawnee, Oklahoma.
- Counsel to a Developer/Owner in connection with the construction of a state-of-the-art childcare facility utilizing New Markets Tax Credits.
- Counsel to Community Development Entity in connection with a New Markets Tax Credit financing of the rehabilitation of commercial space for a supermarket and other commercial tenants.
- Counsel to Historically Black Colleges and Universities in connection with New Markets Tax Credit financings of mixed-use facilities.
