Overview

Caro is a versatile litigator who represents clients in complex, multi-jurisdictional disputes across industries such as pharmaceutical, medical device, and technology-related litigation. She works on matters nationwide in state and federal courts, with experience spanning multi-state jurisdictions. Her practice includes medical product liability, social media and technology-related litigation, and contract disputes. Caro is experienced in all phases of litigation, from pre-suit case development through trial preparation and resolution, including discovery, depositions, dispositive motion practice, and mediation.

Caro is active in the legal community. She conducts alumni interviews for applicants to Vanderbilt Law School, judges competitions at Mississippi College School of Law, and is a member of the American Bar Association. Caro received her J.D. from Vanderbilt Law School, where she was named to the Dean’s List and received the K. Harlan Dodson Moot Court Award for excellence in oral advocacy and leadership, as well as the National Association of Women Lawyers Outstanding Law Student Award. During law school, she served as Executive Justice of the Moot Court Board, President of the Women Law Students Association, a Teaching Assistant for Legal Writing, and more. She earned her B.A. in Literature from Mississippi College.

Her experience includes:

  • Representing companies in complex, multi-jurisdictional litigation in both state and federal courts
  • Serving as a member on a trial team in high-profile social media litigation
  • Supporting trial preparation, including development of expert and fact witness strategy, case themes, and trial presentations
  • Drafting pleadings, discovery, dispositive motions, and trial memoranda across a variety of litigation matters, including medical devices, specialty liability work, and social media liability
  • Preparing the depositions of parties and witnesses
  • Contributing to litigation strategy in matters involving emerging technologies and products
  • Obtaining favorable results for clients, including securing dismissals in contract disputes in state court
  • Serving as counsel in small claims matters related to social media in Mississippi
